What is the delivery time of my home battery?
We try to deliver your home battery within a week. It can also happen that the transport company is very busy, which means that the delivery will be later. Home of Batteries unfortunately has no influence on this. In that case, you can contact us.
What if my product arrived damaged or defective?
Is your product delivered damaged, is it technically defective, or did you receive something wrong? We can exchange or repair the product for you. In case of visible damage or an incorrectly delivered product, please inform us within 3 days. In case of invisible damage, we request that you inform us within 7 days.
What about the warranty of my product?
Every product you buy from the webshop comes with a warranty. This concerns product warranty from the manufacturer. We can assist you in the event that your product has suffered a defect or damage and you wish to contact the manufacturer.
How does the VAT service work?
If you do not want to arrange the VAT refund yourself, you can contact us. You can click a checkbox at the checkout so that the VAT service is also included. After payment has been made, you will receive an e-mail from us that indicates exactly what needs to be filled in to reclaim the VAT for you.
I have not received the invoice for my product(s)?
If you have not received the invoice from us after checkout, please contact us and we will send you the invoice via email.
What is the delivery time of my business battery?
The delivery time of your business battery depends on how quickly the advisory report is drawn up and the quote is agreed upon. Most requests for the installation of a storage battery are between 4 and 6 weeks, but due to many requests it can also take longer.
What is the payback period for my business battery?
The payback period has to do with multiple factors and cannot be determined for every storage battery. That is why every company receives a customized advice report with their own payback period. Every company has a different grid connection and different consumption, so the payback period will be different for every company.
Is there a subsidy on my business battery?
Each business battery currently has an EIA subsidy of around 11% and applies to your entire order. That is why it is attractive for many business customers to invest in storage batteries.
What is the warranty of the business batteries?
The product warranty is 5 years for all business batteries and the performance warranty is 10 years. The expected lifespan EOS (End Of Sequence) is estimated at about 20 years.
I haven't heard anything about my application yet?
It may be that due to busy times you have not heard anything from us or our partner. If it is the case that after 5 days there has been no response to your request, please contact us.
Is there VAT on the purchase of my solar panels?
In the private sector, as a consumer you pay 0% VAT on the entire invoice amount for the purchase of your solar installation. This makes it even easier and more attractive for consumers to switch to your own solar system.
Can I still make a return when purchasing my solar panels?
Early 2024 it was decided to keep the netting of solar panels for a few more years, which means that it is still possible to deliver back with your solar panels. That is why it remains attractive to purchase solar panels, also when you look at the payback period.
Does it matter which solar system I have for my storage battery?
For every system with solar panels, there is a storage battery available that fits your solar system. Even if you do not have any solar panels at all, you can even purchase a storage battery, which you charge with the cheap rate and discharge with the more expensive rate.
